Important Notes & Warnings:
- Ensure proper RF protection between exciter and final stage.
- Use feed-through capacitors on +50 V supply to prevent RF interference.
- Adjust supply voltage according to output power for maximum efficiency (typical 1–3 dB gain compression).
- Cooling is mandatory: adequate heatsink and fan airflow are required to prevent overheating.
- Use PTFE coaxial cable (RG178) for RF input and RG142 for output; keep cables short.
Caution: Pallet amplifiers are precision devices. If you lack sufficient experience, consider a finished product instead. The amplifier may fail under the following conditions:
- Excessive drive power
- Over-voltage supply
- Insufficient cooling or airflow
- Operation without proper load
No warranty is provided for pallets. However, each unit is fully tested and delivered 100% operational.
